The Director General/CEO Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, driven by passion for sustainable progress is championing Nigeria's Renewable Energy Agenda at the OTC 2025 in Houston Texas, in alignment with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for a greener future.

The Director General is engaging in strategic discussions on solar, wind, hydrogen and marine energy, highlighting projects like the Green Hydrogen Hub in Akwa Ibom and the Renewed Hope Solarization Project initiatives aimed at powering rural communities and boosting economic growth alongside his colleagues at NUPRC and NNPCL.

Dr. Mustapha's focus on solar micro grids and green hydrogen reflects a strong commitment to energy equity and environmental stewardship.

At OTC 2025, the DG is proudly amplifying Nigeria's role in the global energy transition and beyond.

With ISCC certification, the ECN is now positioned as a key driver of Nigeria’s sustainable industrialization, ensuring that the APPL Hydropolis Project contributes to reducing carbon emissions, expanding renewable energy infrastructure, and fostering inclusive economic growth. This certification marks another step in Nigeria’s push for energy security and environmental sustainability.
